Eugenia Bojoga

Eugenia Bojoga is a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Linguistics of the Faculty of Letters, Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She holds a PhD in linguistics. Her teaching areas are diverse: Romanian as foreign language, general linguistics, sociolinguistics, language typology.

Her academic concerns are focused on researches in text linguistics, romance languages, language typology, and sociolinguistics, areas in which she has published numerous articles in specialised journals and collective volumes, in Romania and abroad. She was the editor of different series of volumes of studies in Romanian: The First Symposion of Romanian Studies in Cheque, Libri, Praga, 2006; Egenio Coseriu: Perspectives contemporaines (2 volumes), Presa Universitară Clujeană, Cluj-Napoca, 2012.

With an academic formation in linguistics, she is also a licensed translator, having translated some major linguistics works.

She has worked on several national and EC-Funded projects.

She was Romanian lecturer at the University of Prague, the University of Wien, and Università degli studi di Napoli L’Orientale.
